How can we bring a decolonial and inclusive lens to the research and projects we are developing during our time in Germany?
In this Coffee and Cake session, Tâmara Andrade, a Brazilian psychologist, public policy and diversity expert, and German Chancellor Fellow, invites participants into a reflective and participatory dialogue on how to embed diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) into our academic and professional work. Drawing from her current project developed in partnership with the MGG Academy at IDOS, which focuses on fostering DEIB practices in leadership programs, Tâmara will share key insights and provocations as a starting point. Together, we’ll explore how power dynamics, structural inequalities, and dominant narratives shape knowledge production and co-create ideas for more inclusive and transformative approaches in our own fields. This space is an invitation to connect, challenge assumptions, and imagine how our work can actively contribute to a more just, plural, and equitable future.
