Tâmara Andrade, German Chancellor Fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and Guest researcher at IDOS visited the Academy to engage with the Fellows on the cross-cutting theme of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB). In a very interactive session, she first addressed theoretical and conceptual foundations, and shared some insights from her current project conducted at IDOS in collaboration with the MGG Academy, which focuses on promoting DEIB practices in leadership programs. However, the focus was on the active involvement of the Fellows. Tâmara worked interactively with the Fellows to explore the links to their personal backgrounds and research interests. The participants were able to take a privilege test using a questionnaire designed by Tâmara, the aim of which was to critically reflect on their self-perception. The fellows were able to discuss this in groups of two.
