On July 3 and 4, Manuel Becker, Head of the Scientific Program at the AIA, took part in the “Trilateral Seminar Transatlantic Security Architecture: Developments and Perspectives” in Paris.
This was organized by the Defense and Strategy team at the Ecole Militaire. In a two-day track 1.5 seminar, parliamentarians, government officials, diplomats, military officers and academics from France, Canada, Germany, Poland and Norway came together to discuss the development of the transatlantic security architecture. Topics included the security situation in the Arctic region, the importance of rapid support forces and supply chains, and the question of how bilateral and trilateral formats can usefully complement multilateralism.
